Sugi is an aromatic cedar that is a very light, soft wood. Hawaiian grown Sugi wood often has bold ropy curls and figure. We responsibly harvest our wood on Big Island, Hawai’i and process the tonewood sets on Oahu, Hawai’i. We supply beginner luthiers and factories alike.
