koa veneer
We work directly with factories in Japan to process Koa veneer cants into paper thin veneer roughly 0.6 mm thick. The backing material used in our veneers is called “Spanbond” and is a special fleece material that is very thin for maximum flexibility in the veneer without cracking. The veneers can be rolled up tight into a box for easy shipping and when unrolled in your shop they will lay flat right away and will be ready for adhesion to plywood or whatever substrate you choose.
Raw Hawaiian koa veneer & Other Species
We can also provide you with raw veneer that has not been laid up and is sliced only to 0.6 mm thickness. For special layup requests or for other Hawaiian species like curly Mango veneers, please contact us.
